OIST Workshop on Cognitive Neurobiology

The aim of the OIST Workshop on Cognitive Neurobiology is to bring together scientists who are trying to understand the neurobiological origins of cognitive functions in order to exchange recent experimental findings and ideas about future research directions. We invite lectures by leading neuroscientists and poster presentations by young researchers working on primate models. The discussions at the workshop will be incorporated into the planning for a new brain research center at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, a new graduate institute being built in Okinawa, a semi-tropical island of Japan.
